Takoda Wahya Community Rules

Introducción

These rules exist not to restrict you, but to protect what we’re building together—a space where every member feels safe, respected, and genuinely welcome.

By joining and participating in Takoda Wahya Community Hub, you agree to these rules. Ignorance of them is not an excuse. They apply equally to everyone, without exception—including staff.

If something isn’t explicitly covered here, moderators will use common sense and the spirit of these rules to make decisions. Those decisions are final, though you may always appeal respectfully via a private message to a moderator.

We are all Wahya. We are all Takoda. Act like it.

📜 Respect & Conduct

1. Treat every person with basic human dignity.
   Every member—regardless of origin, nationality, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, belief, sexual orientation, disability, or background—deserves respect. This is non-negotiable.
2. Respect does not mean agreement.
   Disagreement is welcome here. Debate is welcome here. You may challenge ideas, question beliefs, and argue your position—as long as you do so with arguments, not attacks. Critique the idea, never the person.
3. Hate speech is never an opinion.
   Stating that a specific group of people—by race, gender, culture, religion, nationality, or any other characteristic—is inferior, dangerous, or deserving of harm is not a valid argument. It is hate speech and will be treated as such.
4. No harassment, bullying, or mockery.
   This includes repeated unwanted contact, public humiliation, targeted insults, and sustained negative attention. A joke at someone’s expense that they did not invite is not humor—it’s mockery. We don’t do that here.
5. No discrimination of any kind.
   This community is built on the belief that every person belongs here. Discriminatory language, slurs, and dehumanizing content directed at any group will result in immediate action.

📜 Age & Participation

6. Minimum age to participate is 16 years old.
   This aligns with Discord’s Terms of Service and our commitment to a mature, respectful community. Lying about your age will result in a ban.

📜 Content Rules

7. No sexual content of any kind.
   Artistic nudity (non-sexually explicit)—such as classical art, tasteful illustrations, or SFW anatomical studies—belongs only in #art-mature. Sexually explicit content, even if “artistic,” is prohibited entirely.
8. No spam, illegal content, or unsolicited self-promotion.
   • Spam: Repeated messages, excessive emojis, or disruptive behavior.
   • Illegal content: Pirated material, copyright violations, or anything prohibited by Discord’s ToS.
   • Self-promotion: Only allowed in #creative-showcase, #upcoming-streams, #game-reviews, and the specific #mods channels for each game category.
   • Rule: One link per message, and it must be relevant to the channel.
9. AI content: Deepfakes or non-consensual AI-generated content are banned.
   This includes AI-generated harassment, fake nudity, or voice clones. Respect and consent are paramount.
10. Respect boundaries in DMs.
    Unsolicited messages or harassment in private chats may result in action. If someone makes you uncomfortable, report it.
11. Debate controversial topics respectfully.
    Political, religious, or sensitive discussions are allowed if civil. Moderators will intervene if conversations turn hostile.
12. Always credit creators.
    Plagiarism or claiming others’ work as your own is prohibited. If you share someone else’s mod, art, or project, give credit.

📜 Art & Creative Content

13. #creative-showcase is open to all artistic expression.
    Paintings, drawings, photography, crafts, poetry, digital art, music—all creativity is welcome. Content must be your own or properly credited.
14. Artistic nudity belongs in #art-mature.
    Classical nudity, life drawing, and fine art photography are welcome only in #art-mature. The line is intent:
    • Artistic nudity = expression, craft, or the human form as subject.
    • Sexual content = arousal or explicitness. This has no place here.

📜 Community Spirit

15. Help each other generously.
    Whether it’s a modding question, a creative block, or someone having a tough day—this community is stronger when we show up for each other. Kindness IS a superpower.
16. Humor is welcome—mean humor is not.
    Memes, jokes, and playful banter are encouraged. But if the joke requires someone to feel bad, it’s not humor—it’s cruelty.

📜 Moderation & Enforcement

17. Moderators are volunteers, not enemies.
    Staff give their time freely to keep this space healthy. Treat them with respect. Arguing with or insulting moderators will be treated as a conduct violation.
18. Enforcement is proportional.
    • Minor violations = warning.
    • Repeated/serious violations = temporary mute or ban.
    • Immediate bans for hate speech, illegal content, or sexual content involving minors.
19. You may appeal.
    If you believe a moderation decision was unfair, appeal calmly via DM to a moderator or in #mod-help. Hostile appeals will not be considered.
